Description Bendamustine Accord is an antineoplastic (anti-cancer) medicine that belongs to a group of drugs known as alkylating agents. Indication It is used alone (monotherapy) or in combination with other medicines to treat several types of cancer:

  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL): First-line treatment (Binet stage B or C) for patients where fludarabine combination chemotherapy is not appropriate.
  • Indolent non-Hodgkin’s Lymphomas (NHL): Used as monotherapy for patients who have progressed during or within 6 months of treatment with rituximab or a rituximab-containing regimen.
  • Multiple Myeloma: Front-line treatment (Durie-Salmon stage II with progress or stage III) in combination with prednisone for patients older than 65 years who are not eligible for autologous stem cell transplantation and have clinical neuropathy.

Strength 25 mg/ml (vials typically containing 100 mg per 4 ml or 25 mg per 1 ml).
